This Month in Summary
It's been an interesting transition mentally, but I think I'm making the most of it now. I don't feel like I necessarily have more time. There is plenty to do that I have been putting off! I am so glad I can still see my horse, so things aren't very different there. I do work from home now (and so does Alex) and a lot of my weekend plans have been cancelled for the next few months.
I do think I did better at keeping my commitments to my horses and exercise--especially exercise at the end of the month! I track by coloring in the days on the charts. The top chart is for working with horses and the bottom chart is for exercise. Blue is when I rode and purple is when I either worked out or just worked with my horse.
Goals
- Ride 8 times
- I was able to ride Dan twice, so that was good!
- Weigh 180 or less (lose 6-8 pounds)
- I definitely fell short here and mostly just maintained my weight. I'm sure our takeout marathon didn't help! But we wanted to support our local restaurants early-on in this time. I was consistent with exercising though, so I am pleased with that!
- Study for and take the CSCA exam
- Well, the testing centers closed. I didn't have a chance, but I mostly studied for it in preparation to take it asap before they closed down. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
- Zeke walk calmly everywhere
- We didn't really have a chance to ride outside much this month and we were busy with setting up obstacles for and recording virtual in-hand shows.
